At the beginning of the year, Grup Boix obtained the ISO 14001 certificate, which reaffirms its commitment to sustainability, the prevention of polluting effects and environmental protection in the organisation’s general operations.
The implementation of the environmental management system, in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO 14001 standard, internally and externally promotes environmental protection and prevention. In this sense, Grup Boix is committed to achieving a balance between society, industry and the economy. Likewise, the ISO 14001 Environmental certification justifies the company’s responsibility to minimise environmental impacts and to promote the use of renewable energies.
By obtaining the ISO 14001 certificate, and already with the ISO 9001, PEFC, FSC and CATFOREST seals, Grup Boix guarantees the maximum social and environmental responsibility with the supply of wood and with the products it offers to all its customers.
