Grup Boix has obtained the CE Marking for its BOIX CLT system, a milestone that marks the culmination of months of technical work and industrial development and represents a decisive step in strengthening the company’s commitment to industrialised timber construction.
Issued by TECNALIA Research & Innovation, the certification verifies the constancy of the product’s performance in accordance with the European Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and the European Technical Assessment (ETA), confirming that the BOIX CLT system complies with European requirements for quality, strength, structural safety and production control.
A guarantee for the European market
The CE Marking is far more than an administrative requirement. It is the official certification that the product has successfully undergone a rigorous technical assessment process and complies with the European standards required for use as a structural building element.
Architects, engineers, developers and contractors can now rely on a certified, audited product that is ready to be specified in structural timber construction projects throughout the European Union.
A new milestone in Grup Boix’s industrial project
The achievement of the CE Marking comes at a key moment for the company, coinciding with the commissioning of its new CLT production plant in Puig-reig, one of the most significant industrial investments undertaken by Grup Boix in recent years.
This new certification reinforces the company’s strategy to promote more sustainable construction through the use of locally sourced timber, industrialised building processes and the added-value use of forest resources.
A collective achievement
Grup Boix would like to thank everyone whose dedication and commitment made this achievement possible.
Obtaining the CE Marking is the result of the coordinated work of the company’s technical, industrial and quality teams, and represents another important step towards developing innovative, sustainable construction solutions that meet the highest European standards.
