On June 12, Grup Boix attended the 37th Trobada Empresarial al Pirineu, held in La Seu d’Urgell, one of Catalonia’s leading business and economic forums.
The event brought together more than 900 business leaders, executives and entrepreneurs, who over two days shared insights and experiences on the key challenges facing companies in a global context marked by geopolitical uncertainty, technological transformation and new economic challenges.
Among the keynote speakers were the President of the Government of Catalonia, Salvador Illa, former Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, former High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell, and the Head of Government of Andorra, Xavier Espot.
At Grup Boix, we highly value participation in forums such as the Trobada Empresarial al Pirineu, which provide opportunities to exchange knowledge, create new partnerships and gain first-hand insight into the trends shaping the future of business.
The event also highlighted the strength of Catalonia’s business community, particularly in the Lleida region, where companies continue to invest in innovation, competitiveness and the ability to anticipate the challenges of an increasingly demanding environment.
One of the main conclusions of the event was the need for companies to continue adapting to an increasingly complex environment, where factors such as geopolitics, sustainability and artificial intelligence are already part of everyday strategic decision-making.
At the same time, the data presented during the event conveyed a message of optimism. The 2026 Business Barometer shows that eight out of ten companies expect to increase their turnover, while nearly two-thirds plan to create new jobs over the coming months.
At Grup Boix, we share this forward-looking vision and remain committed to promoting an industrial model rooted in the territory, driven by innovation and committed to sustainability, contributing to the economic and business development of our environment.
